The Lakehouse Retreat

Accommodations at The Lakehouse Retreat

The ‘Lakehouse Retreat’ is a small, private haven  located on the shores of Lake Huron in Errol Village, Camlachie, Ontario.  Its close proximity of approximately one hour from London, Ontario;  two hours from Detroit, Michigan and 15 minutes from the US/Canada border crossing at Port Huron, MI and Sarnia, ON., makes it an ideal location to retreat from the busy-ness of daily living without travelling a long distance.

The Lakehouse Retreat is not a regular ‘party’ cottage, but instead, a sanctuary where individuals or small groups may use the accommodations to Release, Reflect, Renew and Refresh.  It allows guests an opportunity to heal their body, mind and spirit through silence or the many amenities or optional treatments offered.

These optional treatments or trainings are held in ‘The Beach House’ –  a building adjacent to The Lakehouse Retreat.  Since ‘The Beach House’ is set up and used solely by Georgia to provide  private/group sessions and trainings, it is not available for use by others.

With comfortable, overnight accommodation for 3-4 persons, The Lakehouse Retreat has a single bed on the main floor, a queen bed in the loft, a 3 piece bathroom including shower, a spacious great room with cathedral ceilings, a well equipped full open kitchen, and a 180 degree view of beautiful Lake Huron.

Located on a private beach, The Lakehouse Retreat has numerous sitting areas for relaxing and enjoying the views, sandy beach and amazing sunsets. Shopping, restaurants, hiking and bike trails as well as numerous golf courses and local theatre venues are nearby.  However, once you arrive, you will not want to leave the tranquility of The Lakehouse Retreat!

There is a minimum stay requirement of two nights and special arrangements are made for out-of-town guests attending Reiki Certification Trainings.  Any additional treatments or trainings must be arranged in advance of your stay.
